A Mentoring Program for Children

Community Link is a mentor program designed to reach Denison children (ages 0-11) in need of encouragement, friendship, and exposure to a supportive environment. While many of the targeted children do have the opportunity to participate in many community activities at no charge, they are prohibited from participating through lack of parental involvement, i.e., awareness, transportation.

Volunteers will be matched with a child and can interact with this child on a one-to-one or group basis. Educational and recreational activities will be planned throughout the year. The success of this program depends on you - we need adults to volunteer their time once a week, once a month, or whatever your schedule allows.
